I’m a Senior Oracle Apps DBA and Solution Architect currently supporting multiple development, production and test instances of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1.3, Oracle Application Express (Apex), Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher 11.1.1.x , Oracle Database 10gR2, 11gR2 and 12c and Oracle Data Integrator 12c. As a member of a small IT shop, I’m constantly jumping from project to project. Out of necessity, I have spent a considerable amount of time combing through Oracle’s official documentation, the OTN Community Forum, blog posts and even Oracle service requests. From this research and my own experiences, I’ve begun to compile what I feel are easy to follow documentation for dealing with errors, installs, server & OS migrations, upgrades of various Oracle applications across multiple platforms.
In addition to all of our on-premise applications and databases, I’m also responsible for our Oracle Cloud IaaS and PaaS environments and their integration.
